Three-channel video-installation, approx 30 mins, MiniDV transferred to digital files.
—I thought that any fag who likes body hair has to be a good person.
Three men with whom the artist had different relationships during the same period were asked to participate in a collaboration. He wanted them to tell their version of what had happened. He needed to hear the ‘truth’ from them. Together, they wrote a script based on their initial drafts. The film was staged and arranged in poses where they acted (or did not act) as versions of themselves.Places, music, people and various identity markers recur throughout the different parts of the narratives, but it is unclear who they refer to—the same person or each other. A somewhat fragmented image of a young man emerges, elusive in his excessive sense of self-confidence and detached anxiety.
